Closed Syllable Readers w Comp Activities Bundle classroom & distance learning

This bundle includes a series of closed syllable readers for beginning readers. The readers emphasize closed syllable words containing reliable short vowel sounds in words that may be decoded and use reliable spellings. They are Orton Gilligham and Academic Language Therapy compatible.

All of the readers are accompanied by decoding, comprehension, fluency, grammar, oral expression and composition enrichment activity instructions. These activities are designed to be used before, during, and after the reading of the stories. They highlight foundational skills for developing readers. The specific activities for each reader are highlighted in the individual product listings at SK Designs.

A complete list of all words included in the story is also provided with each reader.

The stories are provided in full-color, large page, small page, and black and white formats to accommodate printing preferences.It is my sincere hope that you will find this useful as you work with developing readers learning about closed syllables and the elements of story-telling.
