Description

Have you been struggling with finding a management system that works? Have you always been intrigued by the idea of implementing a classroom economy? Have you been searching for a way to make social studies instruction more meaningful and engaging? If so, you've come to the right place! This unit allows students to experience what the real world is like. The students apply for jobs, open bank accounts, move into apartments, earn paychecks and pay bills! The unit also allows your students to learn about the United States government through a year-long simulation. They will elect a president, senators and representatives and appoint judges. The Senate will work together to create class laws. Police officers and local judges will help to enforce these laws in your classroom. This system takes the classroom management out of your hands and puts it in the hands of your students! Your students will learn how to take responsibility for their actions in a fun, meaningful and engaging way!

What's included in this pack? Nearly 300 pages of fun for you and your students! Below are brief descriptions to help give you an idea. Most products are completely editable so you can revise them as you see fit! Download the product preview for a sneak peek!

Apartment and Job Ads - Students can choose an "apartment" to live in based on Craigslist style ads. Each apartment offers different amenities! They can also choose a classroom job from a choice of ads. Students who do not have local jobs will work for the classroom government (president, vice president, senators, representatives, Supreme Court judges, and local judges).

Employment and Job Applications - Students must fill out applications for their preferred jobs and apartments.
