Classifying Rational Numbers Flippable and Sort (Real Number System)

Classifying Rational Numbers (also known as Classifying in The Real Number System) shows students that our number system is built of sets and subsets of numbers that build upon each other. The Classifying Rational Numbers Flippable (foldable) takes the guess work out of teaching the subsets of rational and irrational numbers.

As students are filling in notes within the flippable and taking note of examples for each of the subsets they follow up with an interactive and kinesthetic component of cutting and gluing with a sort of numbers to make it more of a game-like activity which keeps students engaged.
