What educators are saying

I use the money with my Pre-K students as a reward. If they reach a certain amount of money they can cash it in to receive a reward. This also allows my students to begin recongnizing money and counting skills.
So excited to begin my journey with flexible seating! This is the perfect compliment of rewards and consequences to structure the new "freedom" in my classroom! Thank you!

Description

★A Classroom Economy Management System is simply THE BEST! ★

Students love dealing with money and they don’t even realize how much math they are USING!

Here’s What’s Included:

★Ready-to-Go Money that just needs to be printed. No editing required! Denominations are: $1, $5, $10, $20, $50, and $100.

★Black and White Ready-to-Go Money that is printer-friendly!

★Editable Colorful Money that can be customized to your liking! For example, if your last name is Brown, you could call them, “Brown Bucks,” or if your last name is Davis, you could call them, “Davis Dollars!”

★Checks that are ready for your signature and to be copied! Copy a stack and hand them out all year! Students will love filling them out while practicing standard and word form!

★Editable list of Deposits and Withdrawals. Customize this list for your classroom. Some examples for deposits are: parent signatures, completed homework, excellent grades, tutoring, etc… Some examples of withdrawals are: using the restroom, talking out, disrespect, etc… We like to assign an amount to each behavior so there are no surprises.

★Double-sided Transaction Record where students add deposits and subtract debits to keep track of their balance. Math skills at work!

★Editable Bank Sign that you can hang above your “bank.” Create a name or better yet, have students vote on one!

★Open and closed signs for the bank. We like to put ours on rings and our bankers flip them depending if the bank is open to make change, etc… (They love doing this!)

★Money Vocabulary Activity! There are a lot of new words that come along with having a Money System in your classroom. Words such as transaction or withdrawal, need to be taught! There is also an editable page where you can add words that you would like to see taught in your room.

A note on editing: After you make edits to a page, save the file again. SAVE AS A PDF FOR IT TO PRINT.
