What educators are saying

I really love this activity as I have struggled with how to break down how to complete a job application for my students. I love how clear this is and easy to walk through.
I did this with my 6th graders and it was so fun! I modified the job application a bit for them just to make it a touch easier, but it worked really well! This is my first time using classroom jobs and I think it will be great. Thank you!

Description

Looking for a way to teach responsibility and create a classroom community of collaboration? Here are nine class jobs and, even better, a real-life job application!

In the secondary classroom, monitoring classroom jobs can be tedious, but this is a practical solution! Each quarter, my students practice their college and career readiness skills by applying for one of my nine unique, useful classroom jobs.

This download includes printables for a Classroom Job Gallery Walk (a great back to school opportunity for teaching routines and expectations), a lesson plan, and a job application. The documents are FULLY EDITABLE using Google Docs and Google Slides. YES! This means you can even assign them via Google Classroom if your class is 1:1.
