Description

Need a simple lesson on the Civil War for students with Autism or other Developmental Disabilities? Try this simple Civil War story that explains in the most simplistic terms what the Civil War was about. The BINGO game is a fun way to review vocabulary or just expose students to different vocabulary associated with the Civil War. Great for students with Autism or developmental disabilities. Set includes 17 Bingo boards (all different) and one set of calling cards. Civil War story is 10 pages long and is very simply written.

Vocabulary:
Lincoln
North Carolina
slavery
horseback riding
drum
march
Ohio
South Carolina
pup tent
USA
Tennessee
north
New York
Florida
south
army
freedom
surrender
military
soldier
Alabama
United States
navy

Differentiation:
~Use as a matching game for students still learning matching skills and the basics of how to play Bingo
~give clues about the picture to see if students can recall the information taught in previous lessons

I would suggest printing, cutting and laminating the Bingo boards, calling cards and story for durability. I left room on the left side of the story for binding purposes.
