What educators are saying

We did this as an activity before winter break. My kids used them as their winter themed name tags. They are adorable1
This was such a cute addition to our bulletin board. The directions were easy for students and the choice of a large of smaller truck tailored it perfectly to our needs. My paras and I even made a truck with our names!

Description

Christmas Tree Name Craft for the Hallway/Bulletin Board

Looking for a fun craft for your hallway or bulletin board? This activity is adorable and a great way to brighten up your walls for the holiday season!

  • Students follow the directions to color, cut, and paste together a Christmas tree with all letters of their name. It's okay if their name is long, it just means a taller tree!!
  • Students then assemble their truck (multiple options for the saying on the trunk) and place their tree so it is sticking out the back.
  • Students then complete the writing prompt that goes with their craft.
  • The writing prompt is "Does your family have a real or fake Christmas tree? How do you decorate your tree? Explain your family traditions."

Option to create a LARGE or SMALL truck/tree

Although it is not necessary, you can laminate and send home as a memento from their current grade level!

Have fun! Happy Holidays!
