Description

Celebrate the Christmas season with a little extra fun. This Roll-a-Story writing activity requires no prep, just printing and would work great for use during reading/writing class or for early finishers, literacy centers, homework, or just when you have a few minutes here or there to have a little Christmas fun!

How It Works: Students roll a die to determine their character, setting (time), setting (place), and conflict. Once students know the story elements, they will write those in the boxes on the "Christmas Roll-a-Story" Story Builder sheet. They will also brainstorm and write ideas about each story element. Once students make their story plan, they are ready to write. Editable rubrics are included if you want to make this a graded task.

All pages have been designed to give you printing flexibility (color or ink-saving black & white).

Also included are three, different lined pages designed to accommodate the writing needs of students in grades 1-6.
