Christmas Math Ten Frames Unit
- PDF
Description
These ten frames activities will give your classroom a festive air while reinforcing number sense and subitizing! This will be a great pack for the whole month of December, it contains three styles of ten frames – Gingerbread, Santa and Reindeer and Christmas trees with presents.
There are two sets for each style:
The first set has large cards that feature a ten frame on one card and a matching card with both the numeral and number word. It includes numbers 0-20 and would be appropriate for whole group lessons and displaying in the classroom, perhaps on your math wall.
The second set includes numbers 0-20 and has smaller cards that would be appropriate for a math center activity.
Included are four recording sheets for each style as well:
The first set of recording sheets is for numbers 1-10, one has the ten frames arranged in numerical order. The other is in random order for more of a challenge. The second set of recording sheets is for numbers 11-20. It has both the numerical order and random order sheets as well.
