  • And she will have a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins. Matthew 1:21
  • The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David! Luke 2:11
  • So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son. John 1:14
  • And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 1 John 5:11
  • All right then, the Lord himself will give you the sign. Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel (which means ‘God is with us’). Isaiah 7:14
  • For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6
  • “Don’t be afraid, Mary,” the angel told her, “for you have found favor with God! You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus." Luke 1:30-31
  • But the angel reassured them. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people." Luke 2:10
  • And you will recognize him by this sign: You will find a baby wrapped snugly in strips of cloth, lying in a manger. Luke 2:12
