Not only can they be used for classroom activities, they are also perfect for distance learning. They are geared towards the Year One Australian Curriculum, but feature editable content so can also work for other year levels. These prompts will engage even your most reluctant writers (tried and tested!).

These Christmas prompts include:

  • Would you rather? A much-loved favourite, students are posed with questions such as 'Would you rather have Rudolph's nose or giant elf ears?'.
  • Christmas Opinions! Questions designed to encourage students to form and justify an opinion!
  • Make a Choice! Includes prompts such as 'Where do you think Santa should go on Holiday?'.
  • Let's Persuade! Students apply their knowledge of the persuasive text structure, through prompts such as 'Who should win the Christmas awards; the Elves or Santa?.
