Description

Wondering what to do for parent Christmas or holiday cards from students this year? These digital Christmas holiday cards with student photos are perfect for both the classroom & distance learning!

Students can edit and "sign" them in Google Classroom, Seesaw, or any platform that supports JPEG files. Parents can download them as keepsakes. They can also be printed and mailed if desired.

Each card has a place for a student's photo to make it more personalized. Use a photo that you have on file or have students send you one via Google Classroom, Seesaw, email, or text. Instructions are included that show you how to easily upload and crop the photo for the card in PowerPoint.

Send the cards to the students to "sign" and edit using the editing tools in Google Classroom (text tool, insert shapes such as hearts, smiley faces, sun, cloud, etc., insert callouts to make it look like the student is saying something special) or Seesaw (text tool, drawing tools, record a special message, etc.).

Step-by-step instructions with pictures AND video tutorials are included that show you how to:

  • Insert student photos in PowerPoint (the resource is a PowerPoint file)
  • Save the cards as JPEG files

What educators are saying about this resource:

"These were so fun to use to make holiday cards for all the parents of my students! The parents sent photos via our school messaging app and I put them into the cards. It happened that all my student this year celebrated Christmas, but there were options (such as snowmen) for those who did not as well, that were also super cute!" - Deborah S.

"These are super cute! My students were so excited when I showed them the examples. They loved seeing themselves in the photos. I decided to print them, put them on a cardstock background and laminate them to send home as gifts. The students loved them and couldn't wait to take them home." - Jaylene E.

"My students loved these! They got such a kick out of seeing their faces in the different cards. Made a great addition to their Christmas gifts to mom and dad." - Maureen S.

"This was a fun way to spread holiday cheer in our school! Students enjoyed making and sharing these digital cards with staff members." - Rachel R.

"My virtual students loved making cards for their family members with this resource. They enjoyed the variety of cards that were offered. Students added their picture to make them personable. This was a wonderful way for my virtual students to make Christmas cards for their loved ones!" - Christine L.
