This unit explores some of the most prominent pieces and composers of the Renaissance Era and provides interesting and engaging discussion questions for your class. Students will learn the prominent musical characteristics of the era and apply critical thinking skills to discuss the listening examples.
Corresponding Google Forms are included. The Google Forms include free-response journal entries as well as specific writing prompts related to the content. Use the Google Form for written assignments or use the post-it notes on the slideshow to host group discussion instead.
This Renaissance unit will take 3-4 days.
