Checking Account Register :: Show your work!

Teaching students about financial responsibility can be a challenge, use this activity to teach them about budgets and recording transactions, and registering information in a checking account.

This is an old school exercise that will familiarize you with a check register. Simply put the items from the top list into the register as you think they should be.

Check the answer sheet or with your teacher to see if you got the right balance. (Balancing your account these days is as simple as logging into your bank account online)

While online banking balances your bank accounts automatically
(just log on and see what you have in there), it is good practice to learn the old school methods. Fill out the check register below with the information provided. The dates are not in order, so you must rearrange them and place them in accordingly!
