Description

The earlier students are introduced to the concept of centuries the better their future history studies will be. Centuries and dates are tricky but can be a lot of fun to change up how you practice math skills with your littlest learners.

The lessons suggestions are very straightforward and will provide you with a few different options throughout the school year. Whole class, small group, and even individual games can be played with Centuries for Elementary Students.

Centuries begin with the 1st century and continue through to the 25th century.

Corresponding dates begin with 1 – 100.

This resource is also Common Core Aligned for grades K - 2!

Why is it listed as Not Grade Specific?

Not all schools and instruction are the same. This is a great resource to introduce to younger students because it aligns with some math standards. Still, some older students may need a little centuries practice to ensure their success in more advanced history classes.
