Cell Membrane

Students will create their own cell membrane. They will color the characters that make up the cell membrane, cut them out, and then glue them around the animal cell. This activity is great because students get to color their own phospholipids and proteins any color they want. By having students create their own cell membrane, they get to explore it at a deeper level.

The cell membrane is enlarged so students can visually see what makes it up. This is a great, hands on activity for EL students especially because of the visuals.
