Description

This Categorizing Activity Wallet Book Craft is a great interactive way to work on categorization skills with your students to build receptive and expressive vocabulary. This fun activity will help your students understand the word relationships of common nouns based on category groups.

How to Assemble the Category Activity Wall Craft:

Print one of the wallet templates on page 3-4 (pick the style you like the best) on cardstock. One page will make two wallets. Then, print the category foldable level you want for the wallet. Cut out the foldable and glue into the wallet. The ID can be cut off and glued on the inside. Keep the foldables together and fold along the edges to get the accordion look. You can fold and unfold the category cards as you want!

Four levels are available to differentiate with your students or student's can create four different wallet foldables! Students can color in the different items as they practice naming items in specific categories. You can also use this as a receptive language task by having the student point or color to an item in a certain category.

Level 1- Page 5 is the main foldable and the additional categories for level 1 are on page 6 (on the left side).

Level 2- Page 7 is the main foldable and the additional categories for level 2 are on page 6 (on the right side).

Level 3- Page 8 is the main foldable and the additional categories for level 3 are on page 9 (on the left side).

Level 4- Page 10 is the main foldable, and the additional categories for level 4 are on page 9 (on the right side).
