It is the perfect way to make a holiday party into an awesome STEM learning event. We have combined our four catapult activities into one bundle so you can introduce the concept in the fall, have the kids revise their ideas in the winter, and finally review in the spring.

Grab a bag of candy chicks, mini candy pumpkins, gummy candy hearts, marshmallows or cotton balls. Add some spools or small plastic vials, and some paint stirrers or rulers and you are good to go for a great force and motion lesson to use in your simple machine unit.

Our packet walks your students through the engineering design process from initial drawing to the test and launches! Your kids will

shout, “ Learning is sweet!!” as you smile at their comprehension of levers and forces.
