Careers in Art Brochure Digital Canva Design Project: Middle & High School Art

Need a quick 1-2 day art lesson for your Studio Class? Need a lesson that's easy to leave with a sub? Then check out this technology focused art lesson based on Careers in Art! Students will research a career in the Arts - of their choice. Then they will learn and utilize the program Canva (easily adaptable if using Google Docs) to design a trifold brochure that will educate others on a career in the field of art! Students will utilize technology and develop design skills that they can use later in other core classes.

This lesson contains a Google Drive link that has a PDF of a student ready slideshow, a google doc with links to the original Canva Slideshow and links to youtube video tutorials, as well as a Teacher pacing outline and Teacher rubric.

This lesson is one that requires only a chromebook or laptop and access to Canva (or Google Docs). It can easily be provided to students as an extra credit assignment, or make up lesson for missed classes. It can be sent to possible virtual students and is easy to follow by a substitute.
