This hands-on PBL experiential project equips students to develop content about your town or city's offerings, services, and events using Canva.com to create a digital newsletter. The second part of the project has students send professional email to the teacher using best practices. Students apply writing, design, computer applications, and communication life skills in this hands-on project that can be used for ANY CLASS! Grading rubric is included for easy assessment. Lesson time is 3 - 5 hours.

Perfect for in person learning or online learning. Bring real world examples into the classroom to make learning ENGAGING, RELEVANT, and MEANINGFUL. This is fully editable in Microsoft Word and Google Docs. Use Gmail or Outlook to send student emails. Project based learning helps students' understanding, retention, and skill development!
