Description
Included in this pack are three different calendar activities:
1. Monthly Tooth & Tally Pages-Print and laminate each page. Each month, have students write their names as they lose teeth and practice tallying the number of school days in each month using wet erase markers.
2. School Day Count Chart-Print and laminate. This chart documents total number of school days, and re-enforces place value.
3. School Day Count, Count By Ten-Print, then enlarge 129% (11"x17") if you prefer it larger. I have included numbers to 200 in case your school is in session more than ours; we only use towers to 180. In my classroom, we build towers with Unifx cubes to keep track of the days in school, and then we also color the tower to match. This allows students to see the numerals in case they need a visual to write the School Day Count.
