CRASH COURSE HISTORY OF SCIENCE SUMMARY: In this 46 episode series, host, author, award-winning vlogger, and online personality Hank Green will take you on a journey through the history of science. As Green states in the introduction, “We've been asking big questions for a really long time and we've all wanted to explore how we've sought to answer those questions through the centuries. Questions like, "What is stuff?" and "Where are we?" have inspired people all over the world to investigate. So let’s dive in and see how we, as a people, have tried to figure this stuff out using science.” Students will journey along with Green and learn about: the invention of science in different countries, the creation of micro-biology, the invention of the atom bomb, the development of machines, and computers, and more! Historical scientists will also be spotlighted including: Charles Darwin, Marie Curie, Albert Einstein, Isaac Newton, and more! Fun and entertainment is applied throughout this educational and historical course. Each video lesson question sheet provided can be used as a guide to help students remain focused on key concepts and science vocabulary terms for the topic.

    Each lesson includes:

    1) Video Question Sheet to be completed as students watch the online educational video

    2) Lesson Follow-Up Questions (True and False / Written Response)

    3) Concept Mind-Map (to help with anticipatory set or follow-up whole class discussion)
