Description
The common core requires a lot of evidence based writing. CER: claim, evidence, reasoning, is helpful for getting students to think through their positions and more fully express their thoughts. These posters make great references for students using CER in the classroom. There are two sets of posters here here: a single page poster with CER and the questions to help the students think as well as each letter on it's own page. The top question is the one I use most often in ELA, the bottom in math. Don't forget about the graphic organizers and board game!
