Description

This package consists of a lesson that teaches how to obtain DISCOUNTS USING MULTIPLE COUPONS. It includes all necessary materials, such as a 12-slide lesson on Promethean and a 3-page worksheet for students to use in conjunction with the lesson. The Promethean lesson is part of the BUYING FOOD unit. Although the math involved is basic and the lesson was originally created for a special education class, it is still relevant and helpful for elementary or middle school general education classes. In addition to the lesson materials, there is a slide with a pre-class question to assess prior knowledge, a homework question, and a Promethean-based clicker quiz at the end to test knowledge. This lesson is aligned with state standards and objectives, and is designed to captivate students of all abilities with colorful diagrams and photos, as well as detailed information. It is meant to keep all students engaged throughout the lesson, allowing some to work with the teacher at the board while others complete the included worksheet
