What educators are saying

I used this during a summer school program where I worked with students currently reading below the grade level. I found this to be an easy to use resource that the students really benefitted from using.
My students in after school used this product to increase abilities using decoding strategies with longer words. Students/Teacher used this product in small group to demonstrate how to decode multisyllabic words then students took it to stations to practice fluency.

Description

Reading multisyllabic words helps children become more fluent, and fluency increases comprehension. These lists can be used for practice or for word sorts.

This resource has ten word lists: five lists for 2-syllable words and five lists for 3-syllable words. That's a total of 120 multi-syllabic words to practice. These are great for word work, reading warm-ups, and centers!

For more information on the importance of learning about syllables and ideas on using these lists, see this blog post.
