Description
Your students will have a blast playing this fun game and practice reading CVC real and nonsense words at the same time. Students take turns drawing a card and reading the word on the card. If students draw a popped bubble gum card, they must return all of their cards. Sorting mats are also included so that students can sort the words by real and nonsense. The game and sorting mats are perfect to use during small groups, RTI interventions, or as an independent center.
In this game, you will find 60 CVC real and nonsense words, 12 special popped bubblegum cards, a recording sheet to use after the game or after sorting, and 2 sorting mats.
All game cards and sorting mats are provided in a color version or a black and white version in case you would like to print on colored cardstock and save printer ink.
