Description

This is a performance task for students to demonstrate their knowledge in electrical circuits, multiplication, and writing a letter. It is a cross-curricular task meant to be used after learning about these topics and used to assess students' skills in applying what they learned to a real-life situation.

Since the holidays are coming near, many people like to use strings of lights to decorate different things around their houses such as classrooms, houses, trees, etc. Your challenge is to create your own company that makes and sells strings of lights. You will create them by deciding what type of circuit to use when you make them, explain to customers how to properly use them or get them to turn on, and create your own prices for different types of lights your company will make. You will name your company and be in charge of convincing customers to buy YOUR brand of lights by making a brochure with all the information about your strings of lights.
