What educators are saying
My students loved this activity. They went all out dressing up their bottle like one of the Texas Revolution Leaders. It was a great visual that gave them something to hold while they gave their oral biography.
Description
This is a ready to use document for introducing a research biography project. Students research an individual of their choice, write a report (which includes a time line), and then create a model figure of their chosen person using a recycled soda or water bottle. They "dress" up their bottle to look like their famous person. This is a versatile project in which students can choose a historical figure, a celebrity, or someone they would consider a hero.
