What educators are saying

I was looking for a general compare and contrast to use for a story vs. film. This was a nice version, though I wish it were editable. I used this with an 11th grade class, so I had to increase the rigor, but I couldn't edit the file.
My students loved this resource! It is a great and easy way for them to demonstrate their knowledge of comparing and contrasting movie vs book topics/ideas.

Description

Compare and contrast a book and a movie using this comprehensive printable and digital lesson. Everything you need for a successful novel vs. film comparison is included! Students will identify and record similarities and differences between the book and movie using an inquiry chart and graphic organizer. Next, students will use a writing template to compose a paragraph highlighting two similarities and two differences.

This resource can be completed on paper or online with laptops, Chromebooks, tablets, or any device that supports Google Slides. The included Teacher's Guide includes access to the link that will allow you to make your own copy of the resources for use in Google Classroom/Google Drive.
