Description
This is a bundle I use over the course of a school-year: Get 16 files, 40 pages, and 16 sets of printables that will help students read, analyze, and respond to their texts. These sets can be used with whole class/small groups/individuals with texts of ANY length (short and/or long) and at ANY reading level.
Designed for multiple uses, multi-use:
-Use them for lit.circles/book clubs/novel studies/genre studies
-Use them as projects or for book talks and presentations or as book reports
-Use them collectively or separately
-Use them to compare/contrast genres
-Use them as part of packets or for HW
-Use them to study one genre at a time or a few all at once
-Use to supplement ANY reading program
-Use for SSR/DEAR/independent reading
-Use to supplement short stories/articles from teacher-purchased books or on-line resources
I use them to study short texts together, then students read longer texts individually as projects! It's YOURS for the taking, but I've done all of the making!

**NOTE: this bundle includes the "reading response pages /projects" AND the "genre study for analyzing" listings!!
See my store for thumbnail images of each product! Many have received 4 star/near 4 star ratings!!
Because point of view and author's purpose change for each genre and story, these skills are always included on every analysis page. Although some of the projects are similar in some ways, they are genre specific, and they help students get enough skill practice so that they can develop the automaticity they need in all areas of reading!
Each set analyzes: point of view, author's purpose, story structure/literary elements, text structure/organization, note-taking guides fitting to each genre, check-mark lists and boxes for reflection, and sentence frames/starters. All answers will be supported by the text evidence that students find!
