Description

Assess student understanding of the Human Reproduction and Development unit through an engaging, meaningful and authentic project based assessment! This biology project also includes literacy components, lending itself to be a great interdisciplinary assessment!

Students are presented with four unique projects choices; Children's Book, Haiku Poem, Visual Concept Web and Point of View Writing. Each choice has specific criteria and a separate rubric for grading.

Students are also given the choice amongst a variety of topics to demonstrate their understanding of; male and female reproductive structures and functions, male and female hormone pathways, the menstrual cycle, fertilization and fetal development.
