Benefits of the Amazon Rainforest Brochure Project and Rubric

This project has students create an informational brochure about the benefits of the Amazon Rainforest and efforts being made to save the rainforest. Students will use books or the internet to identify important facts about the Amazon Rainforest, why it's valuable to us, and ways we can save the rainforest. The brochure can be created by hand or by using a computer program. In addition to the information required, the brochure must include pictures, charts and graphs, and a bibliography. Your students will follow the guidelines and checklist included to make sure that their brochure meets all requirements. A rubric is also included for prompt teacher feedback.
