Description

This interactive beginning sound identification game is a fun, simple, and effective way to integrate technology in your early elementary classroom! This game provides students the opportunity to isolate and identify the beginning sound in 50 different words! All letters of the alphabet are represented, and most are represented twice. Kinder Tech games will work on any device that has PowerPoint installed. Put it on your projection device for whole group, interactive fun! Save a little paper and time; your students will be fully engaged in learning!

You must open and run this product using PowerPoint. Please ensure that you have the proper software before purchasing.

In this game, students will name the picture on the slide and isolate/identify the beginning letter sound. They will click (on a computer) or touch (on an interactive white board) to select their answer. I definitely recommend completing this activity as a whole group prior to independent practice. Your students will love watching the correct letter "float" into the box with one simple click! No dragging images, accidental resizing, or deletion. After the correct letter is placed in the box, the incorrect letters will disappear. The matching word will also appear. This resource is perfect for syllable practice in the Kindergarten classroom!
