    2D Shape Set

    2-D Shapes Bee Bot Mat is a set of 93 squares 6 inch x 6 inch in diameter. These cards can be cut out and assembled in any configuration of your choice. The mat can then be laminated and used with a Bee Bot. This set can be used to make any combination of shapes and colors, the options are ENDLESS!!! This set is also GREAT for introducing coding. When first teaching coding it is helpful to use a concept students are already familiar with, such as shapes.

    Shapes included in this pack:

    Circle, Square, Triangle, Rectangle, Hexagon, Oval, Diamond, Trapezoid, Heart, Star

    Colors included in this pack:

    Black, White, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, Pink

    This includes 118 pages - 90 Bee Bot Shape Mat Squares, 1 Bee Bot Mat Start Square, 1 Bee Bot Blank Square, 1 Bee Bot Hazard Square and 11 sets of instructional cards. The instructional cards included are matching shape cards in each color, number of sides, number of corners, and shape name.

    To assemble:

    Cut around the outside of the black and tape together. When assembling, it works best to leave some extra paper around the edges to overlap and tape underneath with a piece of rolled tape. Print on regular copy paper to assure that it will go through your laminator correctly. For durability, print the instructional cards on cardstock and laminate.

    ***INSTRUCTIONS FOR PRINTING***

    When printing, be sure to select "Print Entire Image" to ensure that page square prints correctly.

    The teacher can tell students which shape to go to, students may choose a shape, or use the instructional cards provided. Students could also roll shape dice and code their Bee Bot to land on the shape rolled. I hope you enjoy this product!!
