Students practice fine motor and visual-spatial skills as they craft bats during science centers! During literacy centers or writing lessons, they write about bats. For extra fun, create bat hats!

Bat Hat
Provide students with long paper strip. Students glue bat head to middle. Students fold flaps on wings and glue wings on both sides of the bat head. Wrap the long strip around each student’s head to make length adjustments, and staple.
