Description

This is an excellent introduction to stage movement and stage terminology for new drama students or as a review for drama students working on a performance. It contains 31 slides, including a six question quiz at the end. The presentation breaks things down into 3 parts: Theatre is Not Reality, Body Positioning, and Moving Onstage. After each section, there is a summary of main ideas. Most slides have accompanying notes for the teacher to use for class discussions and demonstrations. Appropriate for grades 4 – 8th.

Included is a MS PowerPoint presentation, a PDF of the presentation, and a PDF of the slide notes for the teacher.
