Description

This is an interactive google slides assignment created to facilitate research of balloons used during the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade past and present. There are twelves balloon options for students to choose from or to be assigned. Safe and appropriate links are provided for each balloon, or students can use google to research them.

An informational paragraph writing guide will help students write about their research. There are explicit instructions and an exemplar writing sample for students to utilize while they write.

This is a perfect activity to use the week before Thanksgiving Break.

This can be used in tandem with the read aloud "Balloons Over Broadway"
