Back to School Night Movie Script Revised

Parents love watching their children explain the classroom norms, procedures, and rules. During the first two weeks of school I use this script for students to memorize. We video tape the students and replay for the parents at Back to School Night. This is a great learning tool as students practice reading fluency when they read and re-read their script for memorization. They practice voice and humor as they read as well. Most importantly the reading is highly motivating as they know this will be a movie for their parents to watch. I love this because its less talking for me, I don't miss anything important, and everyone gets a good laugh. I think the best movie making program is iMovie and its easy to put the video together.
