What educators are saying

This set just the tone I was hoping for after we returned from break. I used it the first few days back with all of the 3rd, 4th and 5th graders and it was a smile-filled activity that I will definitely use again and again.
My students loved using this after Christmas break. I loved how there were so many different options for the combinations so I was able to choose the best one for my class.

Description

Great community building activity for AFTER Winter Break!

Re-break the ice with your students after winter break playing BINGO and you'll learn something new about your kiddos!

Now includes two versions: ORIGINAL and 2022

(with considerations for the COVID Pandemic)

Find a Friend Who: Students take the Bingo sheet and find classmates around the room meeting specific requirements (i.e. saw snow, saw a menorah or Christmas tree). When a student finds a person that meets a requirement, that student signs their name in the that box. The teacher can determine if students need to fill in a row, column, four corners, or the whole board!

This bingo game can be played digitally too with TpT's Easel.

Note: I worked to make the bingo criteria as universal as possible to all students.

Benefits:

Encourage and practice speaking and listening skills!

Strengthen your classroom community!

Support (with pictures) for ESL and early readers.

Perfect for second, third, fourth, and fifth grades.

Brain Break: Get kids up and moving (and talking!)

Note: All icebreaker prompts are in past tense (i.e. played a game, built a blanket fort). A great way to practice grammar too!

INCLUDED:

**How to Pages** with tips and ideas for the teacher

Includes ideas for utilizing this during the COVID pandemic. (virtually and in person)

**Bingo Sheet (2 versions) with pictures** to support your young students and English Language Learners.

**Bingo without pictures(2 versions)** Great for older students. How many names can you fit into each box?!
