Back To School Raccoon Rhyming Game

Back To School Raccoon Rhymes: a fun matching activity for phonological awareness! Students match the rhyming pictures and then complete a cut & paste worksheet! These cards can be used in small group or as an independent center. These cards are great for pre-k students learning to recognize rhymes, kindergarten students learning to produce rhymes or 1st grade students for RTI! Use them in conjunction with a "Kissing Hand" book study too!

For rhyme recognition, you can arrange the cards yourself and have students identify which pairs rhyme. If you want students to produce rhymes have students play as a Memory style game, each time they turn over a card they have to brainstorm words that would rhyme with it! There are so many different ways to use these cards - your students will enjoy them for a long time!
