Description
These fun speech and language crafts are a great way to send home practice homework with your students. Perfect for Spring! Targets the following: Apraxia, Articulation, Language, and Phonology and is perfect for working with mixed groups!
Each language skill, syllable structure, phonological process, and speech sound Blooming Flower includes the craft with ready to use pictures with words. For our stronger readers, Flowers with just words are included so that students can draw their own representation for the word! Each complete flower has 15 words to practice at word (150 easy drills!), phrase, or sentence level or 15 opportunities to practice the concept!
The craft can take 1-2 sessions depending on group size. It is perfect for mixed therapy groups since I typically have one kid that I am working with (drill, etc..) while the others practice their skill quietly and color or cut out their flowers for later assembly! Then I move on to the next child in the group. These crafts have helped keep wiggly bodies busy while they have fun, practice, and stay on task!
Best yet, students can take them home the Flowers to practice their speech and language skills for carry-over!
