    Description

Biomolecules is a really interesting topic! But they are not just "things present in the food we eat". Biomolecules are chemical compounds that make up living things! If you are planning your lesson, then this bundle of resources is THE solution!

    This bundle includes:

    • INTERACTIVE & EDITABLE GOOGLE SLIDES to deliver your theory lesson. Slides include:
      - Theory content about the 4 biomolecules (carbs, fats, proteins and nucleic acids). There's information about their functions, structure, atoms present an food sources.
      - Questions for students to think and discuss as you deliver your class: This makes your lesson really interactive!
      - Revision task and critical thinking questions to keep record of their learning and to test whether students can APPLY content!
    • An excellent PROJECT WORK to apply content: "What do we eat?"
This bundle includes both the “Google Slides” and the "Google Docs" version of the Project Work.
      - Slides are useful in case teachers want to display instructions on the screen and use it as visual support during classwork. They include:
      1) An interactive Youtube Video (“Amoeba Sisters”) about the 4 biomolecules + questions to discuss after watching it.
      2) Project Work Card with useful information about it (aims, time, ways of working).
      3) Individual and group tasks: Tasks involve practical work and cooperative learning, developing creative abilities and writing down a personal reflection (addressing the initial question of the Project Work). This is a good way to keep record of student's individual learning and understanding.
      4) Rubrics for self-evaluation at the end of the different activities.
      5) Questions to discuss at the end of the project and make students share their experience.
      - The Google Docs is the printable version for students. It also includes the project work card, the development of activities and instructions and the rubrics for students to self-evaluate their work and fill them on paper.

As you can see, this is a great option to prepare your lesson in a fast and effective way, while ensuring critical thinking skills and multiple intelligences are addressed!
All files are EDITABLE so that you can modify any aspect or point you want!
