Description

CSI Forensic Science - Be a detective and use science to figure out who stole the jewels from the town hall. Boom Card Version!

With this Boom Card version your students can fill in editable textboxes and move images to complete the activity online!

Your students will love doing this activity, suitable for both middle school and upper elementary.

Students have to use their detective skills and examine 5 clues to figure out which one of eight suspects stole the jewels from the town hall.

Each clue also has a bit of scientific information for the students to read to further enhance the students learning.

Five clues are given to the students and each clue (worksheet) allows them to eliminate 1-2 suspects.

Clue 1/ Hidden Binary Code Message

Clue 2/ Fingerprint Analysis

Clue 3/ The getaway car, calculating acceleration (basic division)

Clue 4/ Virus, Bacteria, or Fungi?

Clue 5/ DNA sequencing.

Allow 25-50mins for students to complete the clues and find the criminal.
