[BOOM CARDS™] Asking Questions (Conversation, Social Skills, Pragmatics)
- PDF
- Internet Activities
Description
This Boom Card™ mainly targets asking relevant questions during conversations. The first few slides teach the importance of asking questions. It has 15 scenarios that can be answered through the ff:
- Open-ended by typing
- Multiple Choice in field of three (1 possible question, 1 unrelated question, and 1 related question but the expected response/information has already been stated)
After this, you may do role plays and continue the conversation. This then can target other goals, such as:
1. Asking follow-up questions
2. Making comments
3. Topic maintenance
4. Topic termination
5. Turn taking (regulating speaking turns)
...and more!
