Description

This social skills social story with Boardmaker picture symbols helps students who are preparing to have a blood test (blood work). It explains why it is needed, what will happen, and how they can cope with their feelings. To make the booklet, simply cut out the pages and place them together. You can then staple them together, or laminate the pages and bind it. Alternatively you can make holes in each corner and fasten them together using a binding ring. If you use a binding ring, you can easily add and/or remove pages to customize the book for the child. Blank pages are also provided so you can add child specific or situation specific pages if needed (manual edits only, the PDF printable is not editable). As a parent who has been through this with my children, I wish you all the best during your visit!
