BLACK HISTORY ASSESSMENT & CONTEST: FOR STUDENTS/ STAFF W/CERTIFICATE

Dear Administrators, Teachers & Staff:

This is a 4 page Black History assessment or contest for acknowledging the achievements and contributions to our nation. It has a wealth of contributions in varied topics including sports, medicine and inventions. This can be used for staff or students. Also, for AP History students, as well. Use this contest for Black History Month- see which educators score the highest. It is good for a staff development activity in February. Let the teachers/students have about 30 minutes to complete. Collect them, then grade them There is a free printable certificate attached. Perhaps, the 3 highest scoring educators/ students can be given a certificate, along with a prize? Use this as a grade for HS students and college students, as well. Celebrate Black History Month! An Answer key is provided. This assessment/ contest measures actual knowledge. It is not multiple choice, it is a fill-in exam! It is a challenge. Excelsior!
