BIRDS & AVIATION: A SCIENCE PROJECT/ GRADES 5-12, MG, GIFTED & TALENTED

This is a project which takes a look at finding explanations for the amazing ability of certain birds to fily as high as commercial aircraft. What are the advantages these birds have? Is it a better equipped hemoglobin? Is it a better wingspan? Lung capacity? Students research and share their findings, or projected correlations.
