These cards use ▚ QR codes ▞ to link to photos matching the example passages highlighting writing to persuade, inform, and entertain.

Each example passage is animal themed!

Students love taking control of their learning and referring to the word wall to refresh their memory about types of author’s purpose. By scanning the QR codes with any FREE scanner app, students are linked to the images matching the author’s purpose passages.
