Author's Purpose Pie Activity for Thanksgiving

Author's Purpose is one of my favorite comprehension strategies to teach! The cooking theme used within this unit is perfect for a Thanksgiving study! Teaching author's purpose will be easy a pie!

This packet is great to use with cooperative groups, during whole group, and even as individual seat work. All activities can be completed with any Thanksgiving themed books or passages you may have. (Passages are not included in this unit. It's designed to be used with resources you already have on hand.)
