Description

This fun engaging activity encourages students to explore the history and art of the Australian Aboriginal culture and how Art was used by the very first Australians to convey stories and meaning.

Students use paints and animal templates to create original Aboriginal artwork, suitable for a wide range of ages.

Students learn;
- About Aboriginal Symbols
- Colour Scheme choices
- Develop paintbrush skill
- Pattern creation techniques

This activity is suitable for up to 2 lessons and fits in perfectly with many aspects of the Australian curriculum.
